The establishment of Labor Management Information System (LMIS) and Employment Service Center (ESC) attempted through DOL has been delayed. However, three ESCs, at Labour Office Dhangadhi, Kathmandu and Biratnagar, have been established to carry out the Labour management information functions under DOL. DOL has now been split into two departments and the task of establishing LMIS and ESCs has been moved to this new Department of Labour (DOL).
Besides these three ESCs, DOL has established 14 Employment Information Centers (EICs), one in each zone, as follows.

5. Labour Office Kathmandu
6. Labour Office Pokhara
7. Labour Office Butwal

10. Vocational and Skill Development Training Centre, Parbat
11. Vocational and Skill Development Training Centre, Dang
12. Vocational and Skill Development Training Centre
13. Employment Information Centre, Gaighat, Udayapur
14. Employment Information Centre, Jumla
